Five IPAs on Tap. Always. Enough Said.

When going out for a drink, especially with a group, variety is essential. With the largest selection of beer and wine anywhere in the San Juan Islands, the Editor’s Pick for Best Place to Grab a Drink was clear: The Rumor Mill. Along with the 23 taps (no less than five of which are always IPAs), there are 35 different wines and a fully stocked bar with experienced bartenders ready to mix up that perfect cocktail.

“We opened in of Spring 2010 and we had the only IPA on tap on the island,” says Oren Combs, co-owner along with his wife, Peggy. “We are also the only full time live music venue on the island. We have over 250 days of live music a year.”

The atmosphere here is fun, friendly and unique. If you’re in search of good eats, great drinks and a happening place to dance the evening away, The Rumor Mill is everything you’re looking for and more. The rumors are true.
